Berlin filled my mind with thought as much as the pork knuckle filled my belly. Sameness and opposition are such fluid concepts depending on which side of the line you are standing. The colour of my short visit has been a contemplative grey, but the canvas is also crisscrossed with vibrant strokes. Yes, the dark background only makes the colours stand out more.
