Dear you, 
 
Years ago, while in the daily morning ride to school, I would envision a Singapore with no cars. I would gleefully look at all the roads and  highways, and imagine how much space would be freed up for other purposes. I dreamed about the birds we would hear, or the grand trees we would grow that would stand crown to crown with the skyscrapers. Curating this series was a manifestation of that vision where metal and soil co-exist, where linearity would not rule over organic growth. An island where human is nurturing observer, not rationalist. Imagine with me: growing our vegetables, picking rambutan straight from the tree! Fresh air, the sun, sweat, you and me.
