Dear you,

We stand silenced in awe at how the cliff drops sheer vertically to meet the sea below in a crashing kiss. There is a lighthouse at the very end the map tells us we won’t reach in time. We laugh in stubbornness —try us. It emerges and marks what feels like the end of the earth. Nothing but water and sky ahead of us. We choose to forget we have to run the distance back in darkness and eat our last saved cookie. Leaning into each other, at the end of the world.

Always in your light,
