Dear you, 
 
Some sights make you feel the smallness of your being in the best way. When you stand before proof of life millions of years old, you truly reckon with your life being just a speck of dust in the grander scheme of things. Insignificance is not a bad thing, we overrate immortality of the indivdual. Isn't the immortality of an ecosystem so much more beautiful? Live your life to the fullest knowing that you are part of a longer chain. I can't describe the aura of the canyon, but it was magnetizing. In every light it glowed, I could barely take my eyes off. The grandeur leaves little need for words, just a quiet sit to give thanks to nature for its creations. I hope you sense its magnetizing orange glow through these photos too.
